Photoshopping

There has been a bit of a fuss about Photoshopping of late. It is funny how Photoshopping has become an accepted verb in the English language. Soon it will be in the dictionary next to Googling. (Okay, quite far from googling, cause they start with different letters).

I just wanted to point out though that we all pretend to be something that we are not at times. When we slip out to do a bit of girlie shopping in a skirt and plenty of foundation to cover the incessant stubble are we not trying to pretend to be somebody that we want to be? If we had the option of real life Photoshop would we not take it. I am not condoning passing somebody else's  image off as yourself, but most of us have taken names that hide our real identity. We all want a world where we can be who we want to be, so lets not fight amongst ourselves (we should be fighting against a common enemy - I watched Life of Brian last night - brilliant).

My photo is real, but my hair and breasts are not.
