Just Like A Woman

  • As much as I love to dress up, make up and accessorise up, my ultimate goal is to be acknowledged being a woman without the necessity of all these fineries.

    It helps beyond anything for recognition to wear the tokens of womanhood but in what way are they essential to my being?

    Deep down I’m not quite comfortable glamming up.

    For dining out and parties it’s the thing to do but in everyday life I’d rather present as my natural self.

    Just a little touch of khol and gloss should be enough to enhance my feminine features.

    I’m aware this makes me more vulnerable to second looks or comments but in the end to me it’s important to stay close to the person I really am: just an ordinary woman, which is difficult enough.
