The Fishing

  The fishing wasn't very good. We did catch a lot of fish but they were all junk fish. (not good to eat) But the things you can see while out on the flats are amazing.

  When we got to the docks dolphins were swimming & jumping. A bald eagle was sitting on one of the pylons watching the water for fish. There were other water birds by the hundreds.

  I got to see flying fish for the first time. There were some big fish out there because we'd see schools of small fish just explode out of the water & then we'd see the water being churned up by what ever scared them off.

  On Tuesday the water was very active with more dolphins. It was realy cool to see them hunt. They would swim in a circle making it smaller & smaller, than rush in real fast, small fish would be flying everywhere.

  But than it started to shower. We tried to just wait it out & kept fishing, but when I started to feel the water running down my butt we called it quits.

  Be back tomorrow I need to go eat.
