    Where has the time gone?

I am currently sitting at home, nearly four weeks after surgery, my days seem to consist of eating, sleeping, and dilation. Often losing track of what day it is. Slowly getting my strength back and am happy to see my bruises fading. I get visitors at home and am so glad to see them as I live alone and would have gone crazy by now without them. The operation site is starting to look much better now, the swelling is going down and feeling is returning. Oh yes, that is a fun bit, when the nerves re connect and I give out a sudden "Ow!" Absolutely no regrets about surgery, it was definitely the right thing for me. I feel like a complete woman now and am feeling a great sense of calm and peace within myself. I have a check up with Mr Thomas at the Brighton Nuffield on the 18th November, If things keep going as they are now, I'm sure he'll be happy with my progress.
