Coming further out of that closet

    Hello ladies:

I am very pleased to announce that for over two weeks now I have been stepping out in my silk skirts, blouses, panty hose, jewelry, make-up and perfume to attend bi-weekly meetings at the LGBT Community Center in the Hillcrest district of San Diego. I meet with other girls to discuss what it's like to live a life of discomfort as a boy and man, and then realize and recognise what you really are, and then gradually prepare to come out as a transgender male-to-female, and I hope before very long transition through sexual reassignment surgery into the beautiful butterfly we all know is inside us. I accept I'm not there yet, but getting closer through community with other MTFs and listen to their stories of struggle and triumph. I am actually looking forward to surgery because I have groin pain anyway that is a persistent, constant, chronic nerve damage that radiates into the left side groin and back to the squishy L-5 disk that is damaged. They said there is no cure for it, but I said: "Ah, but there is!" Little do they know. Estradiol for this year (2016), but gender transformation is to be completed by 2017. What a glorious holiday season that will be!!!

    Cheers, Anika
