My Wife was my Mentor. She introduced me to Cross Dressing 3 years ago and, as She had suspected, I have a Feminine mind. Always has been I discovered and my past life as a male finally made sense. That is a long story that no longer matters now. 

So my Wife "dolled me up" early one evening and as She was styling my hair told me we were going to the Casino! Then She surprised me with a new evening gown and shoes! Well this really boosted my Confidence!

The moment we entered the Casino I felt like everybody was looking at me and could tell I was male. I have never been more nervous! Mostly I was scared of the other women until a cutie smiled at me. 

One Gentleman approached me later asking if i was free. I told him I was married and he said he didn't mind it! My Wife then bailed me out of that situation.

I was nervous the whole time we were there, about 3 hours. I hadn't had much practice with walking in high heels either, but after that night I became as good a strutter as any Woman! We must have walked all over the place!

After that night i began "Coming Out" to friends and family, every one except my Land Lord. I would prefer he found out after I can afford my legal name change. Also I will probably have to sign a new lease.

Only 1 neighbor rejected me. He is an older gent and I guess set in his ways. This is not a problem however as we rarely see each other. All of my Family except Mother accepted me. They never said anything about it. No big deal. Mom though did not like the new Me. She passed away last August.

My Wife passed away last October and I have been devastated. I am finally getting back on track though by starting HRT last week.

My advice is to just do it! Be mentally prepared for any possible rejection though. I do understand that many have to stay in the closet because of careers, kids, etc. My restrictions ended and I hope your's will too!
