Does any one know of any TV friendly pubs/clubs in Birmingham (UK)?

I've still not been out in Birmingham so I can't comment from experience, but I understand they are developing a bit of a gay village there and it is becoming a really great place to visit - the best web site I have details of is this one

Lots of details of venues all over the midlands there so hopefully you can find a place to visit.

    Hi!

I've been to Birmingham a couple of times recently. Hurst Street is Brum's equivalent of Canal Street and is growing in popularity. The Missing Bar/Cabaret is a popular t*girl starting point with Equinox which is just over the road being a nice relaxed atmosphere (closes at 11pm though). Both are free entry.

Then there's the 2 (gay) clubs of which I've only been to one - Club DV8 http://www.clubdv8.co.uk. Even better, on Saturday 17 April Trans-MISSION http://www.trans-mission.org in association with local support group Outskirts are putting on a special t*girl event at Club DV8. Doors open at 9pm and close at 4am and entry is just £5 with any profits going to Outskirts to support local activities.

Look forward to seeing you there!

    Vicky

Is DV8 okay all the time? I've been to Missing which is very male oriented but a good place to start the night (or go on an Outskirts night if you just want a quiet place to go to dressed). Haven't tried any of the clubs though. Anyone got a review?
