After the blood bath at work this week, I have not been in all that good of a mood. Sure, I survived, but several good people did not. It was a blow to see my boss - the one who hired me, and promoted me - get shown the door.

Anyhow, the winner(s) of the Academy Award contest will be announced either today or tomorrow. Bear with me.

Mere, as eager as I am to hear who the winner is I completely understand your frame of mind. I've been on both sides of layoffs, watching friends and coworkers let go, and being the one who was letting people go. Neither side is where anyone wants to be and the shock to many is life changing. I'm very sorry for your friends, your coworkers.
