Which wood is best for which food in a Smoker?

    I just ordered a CharBroil Smoker (LP gas) and I have no idea which woods work best with the meats I plan to use: Beef, Pork and Poultry.

     

    Any experienced smokers have any tips for me?

    Hey Melody, I think any of the fruitwoods do fine, my favorite being apple, but also the hardwoods do better than softwoods. Yummo!
