There is shed loads of appointments int there during the Transition??!!!

The ones at the GIC at CX

    The ones with the GP

    The lazer treatments

    The electrolysis treatments

    The Speech and Language therapy

    etc etc

Just wanted to ask if the SO's attend these appts too in support?

or are they a chore so the SO dont bother?

    No right or wrong answers!!!!

I go with Mandy to some but not others. lots of factors why/why not. Mostly work commitments,

but also the level of support that is needed at each appt.

  • We live in one of the most remote areas of Scotland, so to attend appointments (at Inverness) means a three day undertaking! One to travel there, another for the actual appointment and the other to travel back. I alway s go with my daughter, back where we used to live we went through some horrendous prejudice so she's wary of pretty much everything now. But the people at Raigmore Hospital are just fab with us both, it's just the excessive travelling that's the chore. :)
