Here is the next question from the trans questionaire.

    8) How do you deal with being mis-genderd?

I usually just ignore it. What about everyone else.

I probably dont deal if Im completely honest. I have got to the stage where I just try to make the most of the hand Ive been dealt. For better or worse I try to accept that by some cruel twist of fate, I was born in the wrong body. Should have had the courage to try and fix that, but I made the decision not to, so must live by that choice. I am an adult after all (honestly!).

Being transgendered is a gift. How many people get to experience life through both genders? It enriches your life tremendously and gives you a complete new outlook.

Of course, like all the best gifts there is a price to pay.

Very early on in my transition, it was like somebody had stuck a knife into my heart when somebody made a mistake and I found it tremendously upsetting, but never made a song and dance about it, but it still hurt like hell.  Very fortunately, this 'stage' passed relatively quickly and to be honest, I have forgotten the last time it happened, maybe 35 years ago (??).
