Thanks, Briana. :)  But I don't think I see myself fully as a woman. But I feel most comfortable in women's clothes.

I guess I will never know the true answer. But from herein I will do what I want.

in the topic How do you like to look as a woman? in the forum General Forum

I know this may seem odd but I have always seen myself as a middle aged woman, even when I was a teenager.

From a very early age I was always into classic cut skirts, blouses and black heels.

In my 20s I was drawn to Angela Lansbury while she was in Murder She Wrote. I love the way she dresses in that series. I adore it in fact.

I have always tried to wear the same clothes as her. Now I am 52, I am middle aged anyway, but I could easily see myself living day to day dressed in Angela's clothes. LOL. Don't call me odd, it's the way I am.

Here's a pic from one of the episodes. Here she is wearing a long green cardigan, white ruffled blouse, black pleated skirt, pantyhose and black heels.  It's not good quality because it was taken from the TV screen.

    Heaven!

Just wanted to point out - hormone treatment doesn't alter your voice at all (unless you're F2M). Raising your pitch a little, and as Heather says trying to soften your voice will help, but it takes a long time to develop a new voice that doesn't sound false; it's all down to practice. xx

I apologize for my ignorance. :)

I know from experience I pass well as a woman. I try and speak softly in my normal voice and it seems to work. There are plenty of real women with husky voices. I don't try and put on a squeaky "female" voice, I think it sounds ridiculous. You could try some of the many instructional videos available on line.

    Thanks. :)

in the topic Your name in the forum Passing in public
I must be one of a very few crossdressers who do not feel the need to have a female name. People ask me, 'so what do you call yourself when you're dressed up?' I say, nothing. It never enters my head!

May I ask, what do you do if someone asks you the time, or directions? I find it so hard to put on a woman's voice. I know many of you people are having hormone treatment but I am not. I still have a man's voice and I find it very difficult to disquise it. Thanks.
