FFG was an Official Sponsor of Manchester Sparkle Transgender Festival 2007 and 2008 - you may have met me at Sparkle!
Part-time goth & biker (sometimes at Whitby Goth Festivals); have been happily married for 31 years to a wife who can't wait to get me into a skirt. Definitely 'out' - have been hanging around the TV/CD/TG/TS scene for over 30 years; former member of Beaumont Society, Northern Concord (Manchester) and Chameleon Group (Nottingham). Have been mostly en femme in recent months; started taking hormones about 8 months ago. Consider myself 'transgendered' rather than either CD/TV or TS, as I am somewhere in between, possibly. Like to meet other TG people for a chat, socially, esp. in the Manchester Village and at Harmony Weekends. Am also interested in discussing psychological, social and genetic theories about gender identity and transgenderism - bit of a blue stocking! Also a fan of real ale - although not good for my figure! Talk to me - I'm friendly!

This was me as Magenta the Maid, about to go to the Rocky Horror Show in Sheffield. What did you make of the comment by Stacy Hart, the one where she called you 'Mrs. Murray', which I have now deleted? It took me a while to realise that she was probably intending to be very negative and nasty - was that what you understood?
