Extreme pizza delivery

Okay, so maybe I was being too confident about launching this site "in the next few days".  Perhaps I was too cocky.  Anyway, it hasn't happened and we still have a number of problems which are causing trouble for us, which we need to get fixed.

This has put back the schedule for adding new toys to the site.  The migration is still being worked on but is taking longer than I'd hoped.  Still, that gives us a bit more time to fix as many problems on the site as possible before we open the floodgates.

In some ways, I will be sad when we do, because we have had a nice little private club here for a few months and it's been fun.  Thanks for your good company and ongoing testing of the site.  It is much appreciated.

It's funny how small the world has become.  I wanted to say a special thank you to some of our developers in Pasadena, California, who have worked very hard to ensure that their software is working right.  I really appreciated the extra time and effort they have given us so to say thank you, I decided to buy them lunch!

A decade ago this probably could not have happened but all I had to do was check the Dominos Pizza web site, find their local store, choose a couple of large pizzas from the menu and then call, order and pay for them.  Actually, to be honest, I asked one of my colleagues to order it but the outcome was the same.

Their piping hot pizza was delivered to their office and they were so happy to be fed that they sent us this picture of them tucking into said pizza...

    That made my day!
