There always seems to be a lot of work to do on the TrannyWeb site and never enough money to pay for it. Today we are having our new Instant Messaging system installed and possibly our new chat room software too.
I'm very excited by the prospect. I really think that the messenger will revolutionise Trannyweb. However, if the past is anything to go by, I'm bound to be let down. Something terrible always happens when we install new things.
When we had our recent software upgrade, the server fell over four times a day for two weeks, making me look very silly.
When we installed our new birthday girl script, it was supposed to send members having a birthday an email greeting but ended up sending them over forty greetings each, making me very unpopular!
The new chat room is supposed to be solid and reliable to replace the naff one we have now. I bet it'll gobble up the server resources or suchlike. It can't just work okay. The new messenger will probably do the same and them Katiekins will have to fork out a heap of her own money for another new server.
Am I becoming a moaning minnie in my old age? Well I still firmly believe that this new stuff will be wonderful for us when it is working. Hopefully it will encourage more girls to go for paying membership which in turn will benefit the community.
There will be several new member only features appearing soon, not least the option to receive fairly good discounts at many tranny retail outlets.
Anyway, the Canadians have just started work. It's 3.20pm where I am but 9.20am in Canada. Should be hearing from them at any moment, that they've begun the installation. Fingers (and legs) crossed.
I do so hope this goes okay. I just want everything to be perfect - it's not much to ask!
