TrannyBlogger Help Pages

Tina B has very kindly written some help pages for the 'My Blog' and 'Post a new Message' pages which have now been put in place.

I'll try to add to them as and when I get time.  I don't know what the problem was with the photo upload page but it seems to be working okay now as you can see from my posting below.

There's so much going on.  I wish we could just get everything working properly so that I can concentrate on being a tranny rather than on technical issues.

I'm quite pleased that there's been some interest in out Trannyweb Girls Night Out.  Perhaps we'll just make this one a low key affair, with just some of our regular girls.  However, I note that we have well over 600 registered members in London and around another thousand in the Home Counties.  Maybe we should be thinking about trying a night club evening.

I'm still wrestling with the new messenger.  Stevie now has a copy of the bare-bones program (it's not very pretty) but we haven't had a chance yet to use it for chatting.

There have been no very detrimental comments about the new chat room so far although that might change if we try to switch off the old room.  People always seem to favour what they're used to - change always seems to cause trouble.

I'm waiting for Eric to reply to me about a load of problems I wrote to him about last week.  He is very slow and that's the worst thing about his company.

I know he's busy and they have a big staffing problem but that doesn't help us.  Whenever they install new software for us, it invariabley contains loads of bugs or makes the server crash or both.

When I try to get the bugs sorted it always takes forever to get anything done.  Even getting a reply to my email sometimes takes weeks.

If I knew when I was first signing up with them what I know now, I would definitely have used a different company.  However, I did spend a long time researching community software on the web.  At the time there really were no other options that we could afford and I could not have known from the sales pitch that their after sales service and technical support would be so poor.

On the memberships front, after a fairly brisk February our sign-up rate for March has been dismal with only one single new paying member ($19.99) so far this month.  That is just not good enough.

So again this month, I'll be paying nearly all the bills out of my own pocket.  I'm not sure how long I can continue to subsidise Trannyweb.

Anyway, this isn't getting the work done.  More soon...
