With a little over two months to go to Sparkle, I am getting really, really, really excited about our small contribution.  This will be my first Sparkle.  Last year when I should have been there, I was in hospital having just had a heart attack so I am especially happy that I'm still around to go along this time (fingers crossed).

This year we are actually among the sponsors so we will be going all out to make a big impression on the tranny community.  It's come to my attention that there are still a number of TG people who have never heard of Trannyweb and that just won't do.

At "Sparkle in the Park" there will be a number of tranny related retailers and suchlike, with stalls and stuff.  We are hoping to have a marquee which we have already dubbed, "The FBT" (you work it out).

The FBTHere's a photo of it...

We'll be needing quite a few volunteers to help us with putting it up, running it and then taking it down on the day.

It would be unfair to expect any one person to be around all day so let's have shifts.  If you fancy helping out for a couple of hours or so, please let me know and I'll put you on the list.

I'm hoping to use the FBT to offer a classy lunchtime buffet for our Full Members (yet another reason to be one).

It will also be our base for the day (Saturday) and all of our members will be welcome to pay us a visit.

This year we are also fielding the Trannyweb netball team so please come along and support them.

I do hope that as many of our girls as possible will be able to come along to Sparkle.  It's going  to be great.  Please don't miss it.

If our marquee is a success, then I think we might try putting up an FBT at various transgender events in the USA, Canada, Australia and various other countries too.

By the way, while we're on the subject of Sparkle, we have been nominated for an award which will be presented to the winner at Sparkle this year.

If you haven't voted yet, please go to:

...and please do vote for us in our category if you want.

    Some other news...

We are about to have our next software upgrade.  This happens about once every 18 months.  This means a number of really cool improvements and new features but there could also be a few bugs too, so please don't be cross if things suddenly don't work right anymore.  If you find any bugs, please just let me know and I'll get them ironed out.

We've just got a new forum - Karen Brad and Carren Tate's Tranny Fun Forum!  You know all those funny email s you get from friends and colleagues at work.  Well this forum is going to be full of them.  Please do go along and post some yourself.

There's such a lot of other stuff happening at Trannyweb right now.  It's a really exciting time and I'm so pleased to be involved.

I'll try to write my blog a bit more often in future.

Thanks for being a Trannyweb member.  We love you.

    Huggies,

    Katie   x
