I have spent the day answering TW emails, doing a little programming, a little writing and organising all kinds of stuff. This afternoon, I went to our local DIY store (B&Q) and bought the FBT (that's a rather large tent).
I was amazed at the price because if we had hired a marquee of around the same size (10 ft x 30 ft) for the weekend it would have cost about £500.
However, B&Q actually sell them for £89.99. That's a bargain!
So now we have the FBT. Next I've got to get all the other little bits and pieces together - catering tables, balloons, TW banners, some seating, food for our luncheon and people to help run the whole thing. It's a massive job and I'm already feeling the strain, trying to fit it in around my normal workload!
It's been a lovely sunny day here today. We don't get many like this so we should all make the most of it.
