So now we aren't allowed to moderate? Can someone please tell me the point of having mods then? I couldn't believe it when I read the thread that concerned this. It gives a licence for anyone to say what they like to any individual or TW as a whole and we are all just supposed to sit there and take it and do nothing! Turn the other cheek?Give them a Glasgow kiss more like! I hope this is resolved sooner rather than later since it will drive people away, including me. I have already considered leaving since this may well turn into a place I don't want to be. The only things keeping me here at the moment are my friends and the fact that I don't want HER having her victory. TW is never the same whenever she is around and the site just 'dies' for a while. The threads are hijacked and become filled with irrelevant drivvle so noone bothers to read them if they see she has posted anything. New members are put off by what they see so don't stick around for long either. Members who have been here a while don't like what they see so don't get as involved as they usually do. Who can blame them. I feel that way myself and now I'm told I have to leave things alone, sit on my sweet ass and do nothing. It's maddingly frustrating.................or just MAD. That's Mutually Assured Destruction for TW. Why are we allowing one individual to affect us in this way? Nikki

My trip to Paris was wonderful.................for the most part. It was a lovely weekend with my wife and it's not often we get to enjoy each other's company with two small children around so we did make the most of it. Our hotel was next to the palace of Versailles so after negotiating the wonderful driving experience that is the Paris ring road we booked in and took a look around the place. Very impressive it was too, as you would expect, and the gardens were simply fantastic too. The following saw us in Paris, first stop was at the Eiffel Tower where we went to the top, (of course), and sealed the moment with a passionate embrace and a kiss. It was just so right if a little cliched. We then took a trip on the Seine but couldn't get to Notre Dame as the Pope had beaten us to it and it was cordoned off!! I was not impressed - Germans taking over Paris again!! It didn't spoil anything though and gives us a reason to go back another day. On Saturday, we went to Disneyland and this could have been pretty bad. Let me explain. It was lovely and sunny in Versaille so we both wore knee length skirts, however on reaching Disneyland, which is only 40 minutes away, it was cold, grey and wet! Which made us stand out like a couple of sore thumbs and we did get noticed quite a bit. I have to say, it wasn't too nice but was our own fault. Anyway, we scooted back to the car, swapped our skirts for jeans and noone took a second glance after that. Lesson learned, though it wasn't entirely our fault, the weather did play a part too. All in all, we had a wonderful time and are looking forward to doing it again someday, plus we are looking at taking in some other cities while we are here. Venice, Rome, Munich, Moscow................Life is great.Nikki x

It's my daughters 4th birthday today and so we're all excited here, although her party is actually going to be tomorrow since she had the first day of school term today as well! I would have hated that but she loves school so is happy. Anyway, last night I put her bed and went to close the door as usual but she said, "don't close the door right up otherwise my birthday might not be able to get in." Awww, how sweet. I hope she keeps this innocence for a long time to come. So today she is really excited because she is 4 and a big girl. Bless her. I love her to bits. Next month will be my son's 1st birthday which reminds me just how quickly the year has flown, but what a year!Nikki x

I've just come back from yet another laser session on my chest  - ow! This time she turned the dial up a notch or two and it was nearly as painful as when I had my face zapped! Nearly. That used to really hurt, especially the upper lip. After a few more treatments I will then be getting my forearms done as well. Why those before my legs. Simple. My legs are easy to shave, they come up smoothly with no bumps or redness, the hair comes away easy and doesn't grow back for about a week. I can live with that. I hope I never add up the cost of all of these feminising treatments, not because they aren't worth it, because they most certainly are, but simply because it's not important to me to count the cost. It's the end results that matter. In two weeks I shall be off the Paris for a long weekend and take in Disneyland too while we're there. I'm really looking forward to it and this time I'll remember the camera!Nikki x

Well, the summer holidays are nearly over and we had a mad time with the house full all the time. We've just got back from the UK where we spent some time with my wife's family and now it all seems very quiet at home, almost eerie. It's nice though to have some quiet time again. I hope I haven't missed much during my absence, you never know around here, you turn your back for one minute and someone's ran off to have surgery or whatever, lol.Anyway, I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone again although maybe not this weekend as my wife is going to Prague so I'll have my hands full. It's good to be back though. Nikki x

At least, that's what it feels like here right now. Every summer my house if full of people since my children from the UK come over plus a couple of my neices visit too. We've had 8-9 of us sat down to dinner most evenings!! It's quiter now, most have returned to the UK and the rest go this weekend, well, so do I actually, just to catch up with a couple of friends etc. In September, we have a couple of gigs and then at some point I am hoping to get to Holland to see Dani and Carren, plus I have to have a post op visit with the surgeon so that's going to be a busy month already. Since I'm not working at the moment (though still being paid...wooohoooo!!) I have signed up for several courses, one in particular I have managed to secure sponsorship for and so no cost to me.....hooray! Good job too since it requires lots of travelling. I think I'm in the UK for about two weeks so I won't be around here much then. Try not to burn the place down while I'm gone won't you?Nikki x

Since the weather has been so glorious lately I went for a little hike in the hills today. Nothing too strenuous, just a short 20km with a lunch stop at the end. It was a first for me in many ways though................I have these horrible musclely (is that a word??) arms which are the result of my past, I've learnt to camoflage them with clothing well enough but in a strappy top my shoulders and arms do stand out. However, I wouldn't let that stop me doing anything so I put on a sports vest top and a hiking skirt and off I went. Oh yes, the other reason was to test my make up and how it held up to the heat and sweat. Anyway, the make up passed with flying colours, not the slightest blemish at all. As for my arms, well, me being me, and not a person to do anything by halves, I found a really busy cafe for lunch with lots of guests and passers by, in order that I couldn't hide myself in a corner somewhere! (not my style) I actually ended up with a family sharing my table and we just had a good old chat. The result is, I'm now much more comfortable with my shoulders and arms than I was this time yesterday, even if I do look like and East German Olympian, lol. The weather is supposed to be fantastic on Thursday so I'm off for a swim and some sunbathing in my bikini, I think that will pretty much be the final test of how far I can go. I can't think of anything more difficult at this point. Hope it's sunny where you are too.........Nikki x

I've just got back from a weekend of outdoor eduction which this time involved cycling and camping. For once the weather was kind, although we did have a tremendous, but short lived, storm on Saturday night. It didn't affect us in any way at all and was actually a bit of fun!On getting back home though, I find I have dental appointments on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week! OMG! I know it is all worth it and I would rather it all be completed in one go like that than keep coming back every few weeks. At least on Friday I can relax for a while. No more work for a few months, but plenty of coursework and training to get in which I am looking forward to. The training, that is, not the coursework! Take care,Nikki x

It seems that everything in that area is in for it this year. First the surgery on my eye, (which needs to be undertaken again), then the rhinoplasty, and then yesterday I had to have root canal work on my teeth. God that hurt!! I swear I have left imprints in the seat. It's the first time I've had root canal work and I thought it would be painful but jeez.......................The best part is, I have to go again for more next week, ooh I can hardly wait! I think I'd rather smear my bottom in jam and go and sit on a wasps nest, except I can't find any obliging wasps. The dentist it is then. If only implants were not so ridiculously expensive I would have those intstead, far less hassle than real teeth and a nicer smile as well. Ah well. Of course, the other kind of implants would be even better.......Nikki x

Until I finish work that is! Although they are paying me up until September anyway, I can live with that! So I guess I shall have a nice leisurely summer with my children who will all be here. I'm looking forward to that very much. This weekend we are (hopefully) trying out a new bassist for the band. The last one just couldn't get there so had to go, and our drummer is heading out too, he just doesn't know it yet. Last year we were really good as a few of the girls here who heard us would testify but this year has been a nightmare just trying to find the right people who can play to a decent level. It's so frustrating sometimes although I do console myself by trying to figure out how my new multi track recorder works!! Urgh! That's going to be a while just trying to find the time.Life is full of challenges to overcome. Hugs to you all.Nikki x
