Just a quick one today. That means it will be less than 10,000 words.......
I just had another person back out of the Jazz Age book, and this was another one for whom I was trying to do a favor. No more. You're on your own now. Besides, you've been getting on my nerves lately and I'm one step away from telling you off.
I did see my family on Saturday. I helped my wife with some household chores, and gave her $10 to help with some cafeteria fees for my daughter. She's splitting up our wedding gifts already. I guess I get to keep these silver candle holders because they came from a friend of mine. Lovely. We almost started in on each other but had enough sense to not only back off but become very cordial.
Things are getting tense again at the house. When he thought I wasn't listening I heard him complaining about why I haven't left yet. Hmmmm.....I wonder. Yep. He figured it out. I love living in stressful situations.
I'm getting more bold with my dressing. I handwashed some items last week and marched out to the yard to hang them on the line.
Had a great appointment with my shrink. I wore a new outfit to her and she loved it. She is such a blessing.
I hope to be working much more very soon. My next classes start a week from tomorrow, and I just got a line on some other history work. So, keep your fingers crossed. Again.
