Getting on with it all

My new flat is starting to seem like a home more and more. I really don't have any furniture other than a few small items, most of which are courtesy of Jen Jen, but I'm still loving it. I went ahead and ordered digital cable and that is put in tomorrow morning. I have the day off, so it's nothing but relaxation for me. And frustration because I'll have all these channels and won't be able to find one thing to watch.

I was supposed to have DSL on my laptop by now but UPS can't find my building! Karen Brad could find it on the Google Satellite site! I should have had this two weeks ago, so that's why I'm not around a lot. That, and those goofy work hours of mine.

Work is fine, although I'm reaching some little burnout. I'd like to cut back to maybe two tours a day for this week. On some days I do as many as six, and let me tell you how tiring that can be. I am also starting to really hate this one captain. One of the other captains gave me some good dirt on him, so they next time he pesters me I'm going to ask him about why he thought he boat was sinking (when it wasn't).

I'm being more open now about myself. I'm coming very close to being full time. Around the building I don't care if they see me in makeup, or heels. Plus, as I've mentioned, my appointment with the endo is coming up. I want to start mones ASAP. Enough already!

Now that I have a house phone, I can finally talk to my international sisters! For the first time in a year I was able to speak to Anna-Marie. Even though it was just for a few minutes, it was still nice! I can't wait to talk to more!

Gotta run to the docks now. More later.
