Plodding along

Sure, I have a lot more new stories about the goings-on at the museum.  One thing I am doing for sure is really getting them ready for the big announcement.

A coworker Amanda was once doing her nails.  When she finished she said "Who wants their nails done?"  I put out my left hand and she painted a few fingers.  I left it on, although many of my colleagues wondered why.

When asked why I am getting divorced, I replied "Because I can wear her clothes better than she can."

In our breakroom some of us were balling up paper and throwing it at each other.  One guy told me I throw like a girl.  I swiftly answered "Well, I am going to get a sex change operation."  They all thought it was funny.

I had a doctor's appointment today but not for my transitioning.  The endo does not want to start me on HRT until I register at a gender clinic, something I cannot afford to do right now.  Otherwise I could have seen him today, since he was there as the same time as my regular doctor.  My GP, by the way, is a young, attractive black woman.  She was particularly hot today.

So far Josie is the only one coming up this way for the Night Out.  She has a veternary conference to go to anyway, so it all worked out.

Lexi is still working out the details for her visit.  We shall know soon.

Anyhow, I am tired out and going to sit in bed and do some reading.  I have my regular shift at the museum, then our department is having a nice little party.  Ought to be interesting.
