I already posted in the Forums about Josie's accident. Thankfully she is fine. I just wish I could be there to help. Someday soon we will be together all the time.
Things keep rolling at the museum. Upper management is always asking me to do special projects. But some of the bloodshed continues as my good friend Kelly was let go this week for nothing but personal reasons. She did not get along well with her senior coordinator. Instead of letting her go to another team, they just cut her loose.
What bothers me is we have a bunch of dead weight in the department, many of which are on my team. We have people who talk to their friends all day long and not watching out for their jobs. I don't like to see anyone get fired (unless truly deserved), but I wish we could have made a team trade concerning Kelly, who does want to work.
My Jazz Age book is about to reach its 100% benchmark. That means a nice little paycheck for me! I have been working like mad on this for two solid weeks.
I had to keep a lot of Meredith hidden this weekend as my kid was here, as well as her dog! I didn't mind taking Rocky out for walks several times a day. We all had a lot of fun.
Now, back to abnormality!
