Suspects

I have watched a great TV crime drama on Channel 5 last night called Suspects where there isn't any script at all and they just make it up as they go along within the general storyline.  Last night's show was about the detectives investigating a F2M transman murder and a missing school girl Mandy.

The show actually dealt with the issue very good, although 2 of the suspects (one of them was Mandy's angry father) didn't seem too positive and a bit of ignorant of the Transgender subject but still the detectives weren't bigot at all.

If you want to watch the show on 5 Demand, Channel 5's iPlayer, and you don't want any spoilers, then don't read on.

It later appears in the show that a picture which had some of the suspects and the victim had another suspect called Marco who was actually Mandy and was involved in the murder and whose mother knew that Mandy was Marco.  Near the end, Marco/Mandy's father found was released and lead the police to Marco and attacked both Marco and the mother and both Marco and the father were arrested.  In the interrogation room, the lead detective in Marco/Mandy who he/she would like to be treated as and the answer was Marco.  One of the other detectives told the father that although Marco was going to prison at least he still had a father who may or may not finally accepted Marco.

Similar to the Trangender themed episode of South Park, both shows have doen well doing the subject matter and I would most certainly would advise people to try watching Suspects.
