This is a sign of just how far i have progressed, and been "accepted" since i started living F/T. Earlier this week A friend who worked for Norfolk Mental Health( suffolk aint got one), asked me if i fancied attending a conference at our College of FE....of course i said yes. The Thing itself is to do with Diversity in the county of Suffolk. This Means EVERYTHING from GBL & TG issues to Race,Religion, Disability and the like.It'll give me a few ideas to help with something i'm tryin to start up. There's also the possibilty that i MAY have to say a few words, tellin everyone what it's like to be TS & living here in lowestoft.....so i may well be sharing my experiences with people,which'll go a fair way to explaining that those who are CD/TV/TS are only human, & so DO feel it when they suffer verbal abuse & the like. I know only too well what its like cos i've had to put up with it. I See this thursday as a sign of just how far i have come in being accepted for who i am not WHAT i am. Could i have forseen me doing something like this 18 months ago when i was first livin F/T?....methinks not somehow. When i think of all thats happened to me over the last 2 years, it seems that at LAST things are getting MUCH easier to handle, if i'm totally honest with myself tis about bl**dy time.
