    • There were once four brothers: Everyone, Someone, Anyone and No-one. They had a very important task to do. Everyone was sure that Someone will do it. Anyone could have done it, but No-one did it in the end. Someone was angry because it had been Everyone's job. Everyone thought that Anyone could have done it, but No-one realized that No-one will do it in the end. In the end, Everyone was angry at Someone because No-one did what Anyone could've done.

    • Good morning everyone, I hope the day finds you as well as you can be....

I didn't realise I hadn't popped in since January, have I really been that busy? If so it doesn't appear to have been earning money .

The last few weeks have been fairly hectic, but in a good way. My eldest (C) has had a college interview and an offer of a place, my youngest (M) is still under review and may get a secondary place at a proper school before the end of the year, his Austism test is in April. C was confirmed with High Functioning Autism/Ashberger's in October, after a mere 8 years, we're striking while the iron's hot for M.

I'm working towards closure with my councellor after 4 years, it seems I finally have my Depression under control and can be re-released into the wild once again, fingers crossed.

I've also managed to lose a dress size somewhere (down from a 20 to an 18, UK sizes) and my wardbrobe has grown ever so slighty, and now my boys know about my transvestism, I decided they deserved an explanation of why I wore rather obvious girly shoes instead of slippers, and they have both been fine about it, although they both said they didn't want me to do it in public with them, which is OK by me. They have both been such rocks in the past when I've needed them, that being out with them not in a dress is an easy thing to do. With them knowing, it makes it easier to sit around in the evening, without having to go and hide in the garden or send R to intercept them on the stairs if they come down for a late night snack .

All in all things are a bit less stressy, in spite of a Tory government and the stalled economy....

      Love and Hugs

    • Good Morning Girls.

Yeah!!! I woke up to SUNSHINE today!!!  I have an extremely strong feeling as Michelle this morning. In fact, even my dreams last night were very vivid as Michelle.

Unfortunately, to spoil my mood this morning, I have to go to into the office for meetings as my male self. Wish I was full time and out at work, that would make life soo much easier. It is getting increasingly more difficult for me to put on my male mask and relate as such in the world.

      Hugz,

      MichelleLynn

    • What a lovely morning, I have two gardens to do today , one at a nursery school at one more local and then the stress starts. Today we M's (my 11 year old) GDC (Govenors Disciplinary Commitee) to see if they uphold his permanent exclusion from school or if he can return. He didn't get off to a great start and has been let down quite badly by the school, inspite of our efforts to inform them of the problems he has. I'll be glad when these few weeks are over and M can get settled somewhere full time. He is currently at a Pupil Referral Unit and having one to one lessons as he is th only year 7 there, he's having a great time and doing some greta cooking (spag Bol) yesterday, chocolate sponge last week), he's also going Horse Riding.

Any hoo I'm going to enjoy the sunshine, mow some lawn and weed a drivewayand make the most of the day

      Have a good one everbody

    • I'm spending the Christmas and New Year holiday at my big sister June's place which means I can dress fully from tomorrow until the 2nd Jan. 2011, (Heaven!) so I'm busy packing my case deciding which dresses and skirts/blouses to take with me.
      Ahhhhhh the punishment of luxury!

    • Hi everyone

I've been away for a while but i'm much better now, my mind is more settled...... Anyhooo.

Today we put our Christmas decorations up, a tradition introduced by my good lady wife when we first started living together, I was not very enthusiastic that first year, but quickly became a convert. Everything is so fresh on Christmas morning, and the decorations don't need dusting or adjusting or fixing, and they've not been in the way for weeks!

Having a family Christmas with my mum and R's parents, it'll be fairly straight for me, but I'm looking forward to it.

Wishing you all the very best of Christmases

      love and hugs

    • Thank you girls, I don't tend to make much of a deal over birthdays. I think that goes back to the days when I worked for a company and someone got the bright idea to get one of those hired happy birthday singers. Next thing you know, it seemed like every week it was someone's birthday and they were hitting you up for another $5. Please realize that was back in the day I was lucky to make $4 per hour. So if you noticed I rarely participate in happy birthday stuff, that is why.

I want to thank you Karen for the Disney picture. It really put a smile on my face when the screen came up.

I would like you all to know I did a special first for me today. I went shopping all day with my friend Marcie at the mall and some other locations. We also took time out for lunch. I've gone shopping with my wife numerous times before but never an all day affair ending with lots of bags under my arms, lol.

      Hugs,
      Marsha

It's a lovely clear autumn morning here in the north of Scotland.
I wish my head was half as clear after last night.
Ah well, coffee and time will take care of that.

    • I won the $40 No-Limit Holdem Tournament on Wednesday night. Not a ton of people playing, but I won $625. I'm trying not to spend it foolishly, as I am eight sizes smaller than I was four months ago and I NEED CLOTHES THAT AREN'T FALLING OF ME!! Add to the mix the fact that I also need a hair cut, color and eyebrows. Oh, also my car is making funny rattling noises. Plus I have a friend who has had nothing but bad things happen to her lately. I want to take her to a movie. Poor thing. Okay...so, that pretty much takes car of most of my money. And I thought it would be tough to spend it....

And the weather's not much to speak of either.
Pay some end of (last) month bills.
I'm spending the weekend with my GGfriend Fiona .
I'll be able to get out fully dressed on Sat. and Sun.
      Can't wait!

    • Morning all

Looks like I'm not going to get much gardening done today, so after a bank run I'll have time for a bit of a pamper, as everyone else is out at school, I can have a nice long shower or even a bath and shave all the bits I can reach, and then do my nails and sort my clothes. I may even by something new while in town.

I'm going to enjoy my few hours today hope you all do too

      Tara

    • Hmmmm, I almost feel lucky that I broke my back and was forced to take disability. At least it allowed me to transition, get facial surgery, live fulltime, etc. I don't have much money, like ever, but I am able to just be Zoey, which is fortunate since she is me.

I'm really happy for you to be able to be your real self when ever you want to. It's the thought of those moments that keeps me going. Maybe I'll get lucky and win the lotto lol

    • I guess I am lucky!
I retired early with 70% of my salary in pension. I do have a mortgage so I can devote my time (and money) to my Children, Grandchildren,...and clothes.

      LIFE IS GOOD!!!

      .... I love to shop, I shop at will;
.... I buy what I like, ...and to hell with the bill!!!

    • July 15, 2010 11:43 PM BST
    • Hi Girls,

I took an early retirement 10 years ago and, yes, it has given me far more freedom to be my real self than I could have back in the corporate grind. It also means I have to live on about 1/3 of my former salary. I have to live on a serious budget - every purchase has to be looked at with a really critical eye: Am I really going to wear those cute shoes or will they just sit in the closet? Is that sexy dress something I will actually wear and where could I wear it? You get the idea.

Unless you are rich to begin with, retirement means scaling back. I'm comfortable but hardly rich. Would I go back for the other 2/3's of my old salary. Hell no!

      Best,
      Melody

    • I know what you mean...so many cuuuuute outfits, not nearly enough time to play.

Still...sometimes the thought of going femme gets you through the hard days. (Others, the thought of being/becoming a woman does the trick.)

      Luv 'n sympathetic hugs,

    • Yeh swings and roundabouts is right. Just got too many swings at the moment ;-( looking at your pic there's no way your near retirement. Hope you have a great day love lillith x

    • July 15, 2010 11:45 AM BST
    • Yes having to work is an inconvenience.
That's why I'm looking forward to retirement when I'll be able to live full time as a woman.
I can't wait, I wish it was today!
But I never forget that when I'm trying on a new dress or skirt and top it was the money I earned from working that enabled me to buy it.
      Swings and roundabouts.

    • Good morning all. Can anyone tell me why work keeps getting in the way of the things I want to do lol. I got a new summer skirt and top and no time to try them on :-(( hope you all have a better day than I'm having. Love to all lillith x

    • Happy Declaration of Independence day!

The civil war started on April 19, 1775 and ended on September 3, 1783.

The Declaration of Independence was signed on the 4th July 1776 after many of the colonists of the 13 colonies of the Americas rejected the legitimacy of the Parliament of Great Britain to govern them without representation, claiming that this violated the Rights of Englishmen.

Thereby formally declaring independence as one new nation — the United States of America — claiming their own sovereignty and rejecting any allegiance to the British monarchy.

France's government secretly provided supplies, ammunition and weapons to the rebels from 1776, and the Continentals' capture of a British army in 1777 led France to openly enter the war in early 1778, which evened the military strength with Britain. Spain and the Dutch Republic – French allies – also went to war with Britain over the next two years, threatening an invasion of Great Britain and severely testing British military strength with campaigns in Europe — including attacks on Minorca and Gibraltar — and an escalating global naval war.

I love to celebrate the Declaration of Independence, as no one should live in fear and oppression. Besides, English actors get all the juicy baddy roles in American films :)

A little joke I like to say, its not the winning that counts, its the taking part!

      Have a good one! :)

      Much Love
      Penny

    • Good morning all!

We have entered the date that symbolises the Trans Atlantic friendship and sisterhood of all tranny kind. July 4th is an American day that we join to celebrate with our sisters across the pond.

I remember having made a post at this place on July 4th for 5 or 6 years ago. Back then I shared 2 pieces of music for the day. Please accept them again as a token of my Trans Atlantic friendship:

    • Good morning, all! I hope your morning is better than mine.

I had a broken web connection for no less than 10 hours. It was recovered a few moments ago. I obviously wrote an angry complaint letter to my ISP.

I am also slightly hung over. That is easy to cure, though.

      Have a nice Friday!

    • Hello, all!

It is about a quarter past five in my corner of the World. I am sipping what would look like the last beer of Friday and smoking one but the last fag. Soon to kick off my wedge heels, take off my blouse and skirt and hit the sack.

If and when I wake up this Saturday will have gone long here but some of my friends may still experience what I would like to wish all: a good Saturday morning :-)

    • June 26, 2010 1:07 AM BST
    • Well it's 12:55 am according to the clock so it's Saturday morning.
      Good morning sisters.
I've just got in and I'm feeling a wee bit drunk.
      Not too bad, (no singing!).
The relief of getting my feet out of a pair of heels and plunging them into a basin of warm water is wonderful!
      Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    • Got up very early this morning and went to the Lime Ridge Open Space in Concord, California with my dogs, Choca and Coal. We had just reached the apex of the tallest hill when the sunrise began. I loved it, but the dogs were unimpressed - more interested in the rabbits and squirrels we passed on the way up.
