    • Meredith, shame on you for starting the morning thread ahead of time. For punishment you will have to dress up in girl clothes all day and...wait. Oh...well, never mind.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day. This girl is toddling off to bed perchance to dream of...shopping or something girly. I hope.

      Hugs, Joni

    • Morning all.

Cold and sunny here in Cheshire. January looks like being a mad busy month and again work may be getting the better of me, will try and be around when I can.

The Cheshire Cat; became invisible until there was nothing left but it's smile, could be me over the next few weeks.

    • Well, I'm cheating again by getting the morning thread going at this time here in the States. Yes, yes, I know there's penalties, like having to surrender a skirt. Ah, but to live dangerously.

Oh, yes, AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!! (with some jumps)

What a nice little snow we're having! After all the shoveling the wind pushed it right back. When I go to sleep I'll get to listen to the wind. Unfortunately I'm sleeping alone and have nobody to cuddle up to. I'll just put on some old radio mysteries and read.

Thursday will be a loooooooooooong day for me. Got my nighttime class. If it ends early enough I'll be able to pick her up from the airport, even after tonight's little "discussion" (I am so sick of those). But if Thursday is anywhere near as productive as today, I'll be happy. I will dedicate one of my next works to you girls!

So, girls, as you go on your way today, keep in mind the three keys to success: ONE - To have a good memory. And, uh, I forgot the other two, but who cares? I CAN DRESS AGAIN!!!!

A lovely day to you all (Yes, I'm rambling).

    • Hi everybody! Wow, do I love being a full member now!!!! Anyway, we have a nice little winter storm coming in. I was going to the historical society tomorrow to start photographic research for my next book but it looks like I'll have to stay home and get dressed up. What's a girl to do? Besides have fun, of course. Who wants to come over for hot chocolate? Oh, the hell with it......I'll pick up a bottle and we'll warm up that way! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

    • Good Morning JJ and Cerys and Maria!

Always so nice to see you all. Good morning from a very cold Central Oregon it's 15F which is something in the minuses in the centigrade world I would guess. Brrrrr.

So we better jump up and down to stay warm. AAAAAARRRRGGGGGGGHHH!!!
Woo-hoo! Jump and jump and jump and jump. Woo-hoo.

I went thrift storing yesterday at St Vinny's and got a gorgeous wine colored blouse (now I can spill and not worry) and a couple of skirts including a faux leather snakeskin print one that is wonderfully trashy looking and some really nice earrings. So my shopping jones is taken care of at least for a little while.

Have fun shopping, JJ, be sure to let us know what you got!

Best wishes to all TW sisters everywhere.

      Hugs, Joni

    • Good Morning, Meredith! Good Morning, Tiina!

Meredith, this is a problem how, exactly?<lol> My solution would be to wear them all or as many as I possibly could.

    • Hi Cat-

Nice to see you, girl. I sincerely hope this coming year is better than last. Wish I could be there or you could be here or we could be somewhere shopping.

And hi, JJ! AAAARRRGGHHHH! Looks like it's indoor jumping for all of us for awhile. It's all cold and snowy outside. Hmm, maybe we could build a snow t-girl later. Hey maybe that's an idea for a foto contest!<lol>

    • Can't say much for the weather here in Surrey either. The best thing about today is that I am sitting here now, all dressed in black, with yet another vodka, and – if you'll excuse the phrase – gagging for it. Sometimes it can be hard keeping your sexuality hidden. I may be married (to a non-drinking TV hater), but that doesn't stop me feeling passionate and wishing I wasn't alone. Can't wait until I can get out again.

    • Good Morning Girls, Guys and Undecideds<lol>

A cheerful good morning to everyone from a snowy Central Oregon. Has everyone recovered from la malaise du bouteille by now?<lol> I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and no New Year's resolutions have been broken yet. I already broke one of mine, but it wasn't one I really intended to keep anyway, so it doesn't matter.<lol>

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Lots of brisk and energetic jumping up and down. Hi JJ! Getting more exercise is one resolution I intend to keep, so let's get to it! Jump! And jump! And jump! Woo-hoo.

Best wishes to everyone for a great day.

It always makes me so happy to see you girls. And good morning to all my sisters here on TW, all the regulars and irregulars on the morning board, all our sisters who have left for whatever reason, please come back, we miss you and to all the sisters standing at the door right now deciding whether to turn the handle and come in.

This has been a wonderful year for me, so many changes in how I feel about who I am and in gaining the courage to express those feelings. I owe all of you here on TW so much, for your kindnes, your advice, your support and for the examples you provide in your lives. Thank you.

Thank you, Katie for keeping TW up and running for all us girls, I have only an inkling of all the work and sacrifice you must put into it. And a wonderful New T-Year to everyone on TW, may 2005 be the year you want it to be. And here's to even more girly screaming and handholding and jumping up and down than ever before.

      AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

    • It's the end of the year.

The end is always a new beginning.......

Oh, dear, how trite. But it's true. As the Hindu word "samsara" sums it up, "that which flows together." No living soul is independent. We are all connected in some way. So, ladies, as we go about our New Years business, let's remember to represent our TG community well. That means raise some hell! I have no idea what these two thoughts have in common, they just sounded good. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY AND A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!!

      AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH!!

    • Good Morning JJ and Cerys and Maria and Christina and Monika and Meredith!

How wonderful to see you this morning. It's a freekin winter wonderland here in Central Oregon, the first real snowfall of the year came last night about 6 inches of it. It's a landscape of contrasts, the hills are lovely soft white pillows contrasting with the pines and junipers bending down under their burdens of snow, whilst in town and on the highway it's a lovely scene of cars and trucks sideways in the road and nose down in the ditches. Fortunately I made it almost all the way home, just couldn't make it the last 50' up the hill to my house so now I'm parked at the bottom until things thaw out again.<lol>

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I need to do some real jumping to warm up. AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHH! There we go, that's better. Hi JJ! Whoops, be careful of grabbing my hands, they're freezing.

Hugs and best wishes to everyone, to all the regulars and irregulars and to our absent sisters and to our sisters who havn't found us yet.

-Joni Marie snowbound but snug and warm

    • Good morning all......I have to scream right now, too, but for different reasons. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGHHH! DAMN IT! My kid is having a friend over for a playdate today, which means that will not be able to dress until next week at the earliest (other than knickers, of course). Now I'm jumping around!

Have a great day. Chris, have fun hitting those stores!

    • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

      Hi Girls-

Sorry to be jumping in so late (pun very much intended) but I worked last nite, went shopping this morning (so Christina, did you go? Hope you had better luck than I did.)<lol> with a t-girl friend, sadly very much en drabbe and then came home and slept most of the day.

I had ordered some saddle oxfords to round out my schoolgirl look, but they didn't fit! Waaahhh. Oh well, my friend and I had fun trying on girl shoes en drabbe, now that's kinky!<lol>

Hope everyone had a great day. Best wishes for a fine tomorrow, which is already probably today for some of you.

      Hugs, Joni

    • Good Morning Christina, Good Morning Mandy-

How nice to see you pretty ladies this morning. Christmas was wonderful, but I'm glad it only comes round once a year. (Does that sound too Grinchy? I hope not!<lol> Now it's time to take all the decorations down again. I vote for leaving them up year round, they're so festive, but the wife says it looks tacky. What I say is, sometimes tacky's what it's all about.<lol>

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Woo-hoo, Christina, let's get to jumping. It's colder than a well digger's arse here, too. (Pardon, my language.) I could use some jumps and screams to warm up. C'mon, the rest of you girls, there's lots of room in the circle. Woo-hoo!

Hi, Tiina, are you awake and recovered? Are we making too much noise? Can I get you some coffee and a couple of aspirin? Or perhaps some dog hair?<lol> Hope you're doing well this morning.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Best wishes to all. And now we have PARTY TIME to look forward to. Yay!

      Hugs, Joni

    • Tiina, there are plenty of leftovers! Let me know when to expect you so I can have them all warm and ready to eat! I must say, my turkey came out FANTASTIC!!!! Of course I had to be (mostly) drab while cooking it. I wanted to wear this one outfit soooooooooo bad for my holiday kitchen fun.

And Tiina, thanks for your comments. Thanks to all of you for your comments.

    • December 25, 2004 5:43 PM GMT
    • Good night, Tiina, sweet dreams. We'll try to hold the noise down. Here, let me tuck you in. There you go. <smooch> G'nite.

Hi, Christina! Merry Christmas to you girl. Whoops, we have to be quiet, Tiina's sleeping. Let's just step outside. Hope you're having a great Christmas, too, girl. Best wishes to you.

      Hugs, Joni

    • hello all MERRY XMAS hope your all having a lovely xmas day

    • December 25, 2004 4:56 PM GMT
    • But, Tiina, if I didn't <mumble> I would be saying unladylike things and we certainly couldn't have that. I'm sure Sandra Claus is already keeping track of us for next year and I don't want to start out with any blackmarks against me.<lol> I'm sure there'll be plenty of them later, though.

And I love your poem. You are a girl of limitless talents.

      Hugs, Joni

    • December 25, 2004 4:25 PM GMT
    • Whoops, darn duplicate posts. Stupid machine. <mumble mumble mumble>

      Sorry.

      -Joni

    • December 25, 2004 4:13 PM GMT
    • Well, Tiina, those are both really cute, but as you must know, I'm a donkey thru and thru. In fact my wife often says I resemble the north end of a south bound speciment of the breed.<lol>

It sounds like the party you've been invited to should be fun, except for the not dressing part.<lol>

Maybe we should get together and have a virtual party here on TW? Except the Oz girls will have already been hard at it by the time midnite chimes here.<lol> Oh well, we can just wake them up and they can party some more.

      Hugs, Joni

    • December 25, 2004 3:37 PM GMT
    • Hi Tiina-

How nice to hear from you, sis. Our weather is very un-Christmasy, no snow, no rain, not even very cold. I think Wendy must have sent some of her LA weather up here. The weatherman had predicted snow last night, but as usual, they guessed wrong.

Best wishes to all and now that the solemnities of Christmas are mostly over and we have opened all the presents and perhaps reflected on the past year and the intangible gifts we have given one another here on TW, perhaps we can look forward to New Years and...PARTY TIME! Woo-hoo! Fill it to the brim, little more, yeah that's it. Pass around the party hats and noise makers.

      Laissez les bons temps roulez!

      Hugs, Joni

    • December 25, 2004 1:45 PM GMT
    • Hi Meredith-

It's okay, girl. It's our party and we can cry if we want to. I know just what you mean and how you feel about TW. This past year has been an amazing one for me and I don't know how I would have made it without all the friends I've made here on TW and all the help, support and advice I've received.

Thank you so much, all of you. Despite the occasional differences I've never seen a group of people who looke out for each other the way they do here.

Merry Christmas to each and every one. Oh shoot, Meredith, now I'm crying, too. Pass the tissues, please.

      Hugs, Joni
