I have been thinking afterwards the day my name changed. In the morning I still had a male name, started my office day, then got a phone call from my ts-nurse who said the recommendation letter is now ready to be collected. I said just keep it there, I´ll be over there in an hour. And so I was, and from there I went to the city registrar, the name change took only 5 minutes, and then back to the job. I asked our secretary to email around my short message that from now on I am Laura and it was done. In the afternoon coffee table coffee list somebody had already printed there my new name. Your collegues are quick sometimes.
So...I finished my office day as Laura.

Laura
