I've tried the renaissance wench look a couple of times for Halloween, but it never works out very well (and get's too hot).

Ouch! Stings like hell and you can't wipe them or you'll smear the mascara & eyeliner.

I bought one about three year's ago and it's held up pretty well for the price. I'm tall (6'), so wearing a pair of white ruffle undies beneath the skirt is a necessity as only half of my bottom gets covered by the skirt.

I have a long list of costume sites. They range up to over $1000 for a costume made to order. French maid costumes are a regular inquiry on TW so I have a little list. Recently I gave a link for a Wonder Woman outfit to a TW member. Wendy loves to Google....it's my home page....how do you think I found TW :-D

Now if someone can just find me a pair of 4-5" turquoise pumps with a thin ankle strap Size 12-13 US Women's , I would be most appreciative.

My interest is in Medieval/Renaissance Period wench outfits ahnd period gowns. You should see the liinks I have for those.

OMG LUCY! I just saw your post. Maybe I have under-estimated French Maid costumes. Anyway, yours is more 'real-life" than the stereotyped costumes most shops sell. That's what i meant in my previous post in my thread. It's "believable" like the difference between a real nurse white uniform dress and a costume sexy nurse outfit. I guess I just prefer :"real" girl clothes and period reproductions to costumes. I guess my fantasies were always to dress like a gg not a sex-fantasy version of one.

My thoughts too, Wendy. Those tranny shop costumes are so tacky. I’d quite like to improvise a medieval wench outfit too It’s just for fun by the way, I don’t derive any sexual pleasure from this, I just missed out on dressing-up games when I was a kid!
If I ever get tickets to a “Blackmore’s Night” concert, the wench outfit will come in useful. This is Richie Blackmore’s band (ex Deep Purple and Rainbow) with his completely beautiful wife Candice Night, who play kind of electronic medieval style music, it’s really good, and most of the audience dress in appropriate costume, usually “Medieval/Renaissance Period wench outfits and period gowns”…
Anyway, I digress, and I should go and do some cleaning. Anyone need help with their bedding?
