So I work in food service, and mostly in a drive thru. The other night while I was cashiering at the drive thru, a T-girl came through. She was so much more composed and carried herself differently than the other women that had come through that night. Once I was done ringing her order up and getting her food to her, I said "Thank you Ma'am and have a good evening." It was so nice to her whole face just light up just for simply saying "ma'am". It gave me a smile for the rest of my shift.
