Just because I am not an American, I am about to loose my say on who is becoming the most powerful person in the World. As his actions are going to make aa lot of diffrence for me as for every girl in the World and dispite of the fact that the US government is not picking my pocket I am hereby making an invitation to all my American sisters.

    1. Please go to your local registration office and registrate yourself as a democratic voter.

    2. Come November, go to your polling station and vote for Barrack Obama. Also vote for a Democrat in your congressional district. If the incumbent senator in your state is running for another term only vote for them if they are Democrat. Otherwise vote against them.

    3. Come back and hear my gratitude for having made the World a better place to live in. Also expect loads of hugs and kisses from old Tiina.

Uhmm, name one thing Obama has accomplished as a U.S. Senator. Next name one of his policies he is running on. Obama offers absolutely nothing for the people of the U.S. Maybe you would be happy to see us knocked back a notch or two but all your opinions are based on a handful of crazy politicians, not the everyday person here who goes to work and has a family they want the best opportunity and future for.
The extremists on both sides are the problem. People need to vote for the best candidate who they believe will represent their interests, regardless of political party.

    Hi all--

As many of you know, I spend much of my time running from public office; politics and I do not always get along.

Marsha, honey--you are spot on. People need to vote for the candidate who they believe will represent their interests, regardless of political party. If that means Senator Obama, Senator McCain, or writing in a third person, do so.

Tiina, dear--I appreciate your thoughts as well. But I have found that Democrats as well as Republicans can and do make total @sses of themselves, given the chance. Just because we've had a Republican prez the last 8 years, and things have gone downhill...well...Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter AND Bill Clinton were Dems; Johnson had Vietnam to deal with, Carter had the mess in Iran AND fuel troubles, and Clinton had some rather ugly character flaws. He was set for impeachment, as I recall. It was only a fluke that he was acquitted.

Vote your conscience, ladies--but for Goddess' sake VOTE!!!

    Luv 'n hugs,

    Dr. Mina Sakura

I agree that the party is not as important as the person. However, I tend to find that the World is a better place if the Domocrats rule America. It may noy be accurate in every state and universally but it is a tendency.

I do not want to kick any American butts, quite the contrary. I believe that Barrck Obama is good for America, Europe and the World at large.

    Karen,
looks like you are going to hear quite a lot about him these next months. As you are going to hear about the other guy as well. And I hope you are going to make a good choice when it comes to that. Based on your best understanding.

***CAUTION, this is a Marsha HOT BUTTON***
Tiina, I'm not sure why you are so in love with Obama. His campaign for president started over one year ago and we havn't heard anything yet except the word "change". Nothing on what would change other than he has already changed his view on Iraq since things are mellowing out there now. Otherwise he has offered nothing, zippo, other than suggesting we tax oil companies more as if that will do anything for the average worker. He is a puppet idiot for someone, but who? The Iraq war issue is what got him the nomination, the problem is things have dramatically changed in Iraq since the primaries began and it is no longer an issue. So what now? Change for what? Tell me what he will change for the better, what he is truly capable of changing and I might blink an eye and consider voting for him.

All you hear over there is propaganda news, you don't live here. I have a sister in law who lives in Sweden, she is so misinformed it is unbelievable. I just love hearing how her Dr. visits, let alone surgeries, are scheduled 6 months or more down the road. You think our health care is crazy. I can get anything I want medically within weeks if not days here. You can keep your overpriced, overtaxed health care. Let's see, gas is $11 a gallon in the UK right now, only $4 here, we don't need that kind of taxation here. The United States is the most productive country on the planet per person besides a couple of tiny investment countries like the Caman Islands. There is a reason for that, and it is our capitalistic structure allowing ANYONE the opportunity to get educated and succeed. You can believe all you want in a socialist environment where those that work the hardest are taxed the most to support those who do not want to work. All you have ended up with is a mediocre society, why work hard if you will not be rewarded. Stop being jealous of the opportunities we have here because we can work hard IF WE WANT TO and we get rewarded for it.
    Lots of hugs,
    Marsha

I agree with Marsha. I've never heard of Obama before this.
