I distinctly remember that during my previous membership, for exactly four years ago, I started a Good Morning thread to wish a happy birthday to the United States of America. I am proud to follow up the tradition: happy birthday USA! :-)

While I tend to criticize some American politicians, deep in my heart, I do declare that I believe in what is best about America: freedom and democracy. Some cross Atlantic sisters may know about my critical statements but they should also know that I was only taking advantage of the first amendment. The very existence of that Bill of Rights makes me love America.
