To Moo or not to Moo, that is the question.
Whether it is better to bleat like a calf or Moo like a heifer,
'tis better to stop eating too much grass and
prevent being sent to the feeding pens.
Alas poor Elmer, I knew him well but now he's just glue.
(I'm sure I'll be forgiven for this outburst)

Gracie.

MOO! lol, yes it is an important discussion!
I'm fortunate to live in the heart of the rolling green countryside of Dorset. My garden backs onto fields and woods. Beautiful.
I'm not fortunate to live in a place that backs onto an area infested by cows. Who, for reasons known only to themselves, believe that my garden is a better restaurant then their field.
I've lost count of the number of times that I have been working at my desk, glanced up and watched a hefty heifer wander by my front room window. It usually takes me about ten seconds to work out its a lot closer than it should be!
Oddly enough, whilst a cow appears quite happy to jump a fence into my garden, it's incredibly reluctant to reverse the act. And my side gate is certainly not equal to a cows girth.
And you thought life in the country was an idyll???
Ho hum.

Rae,
The way I see it, the important question is not whether the cow will fit through your garden gate but.......will it fit in your freezer?
