A dream is coming true

I can't believe it, five years ago I had my first visit with a psychiatrist to deal with my transsexualism, and this morning my current psych committed to me that she will write my referral letter for GRS whenever I need it. She said there was no question in her mind that I was ready and she saw no problem with me having the surgery in Thailand. My plans are still to have surgery this coming December and I will make my surgeon selection and hope to begin making arrangements in June when I have a better idea how all the factors involved look. It is an unbelievable dream come true for me and once again I want to thank everyone here that have given me support to make this incredible journey. I don't believe the journey ever ends, however, soon another chapter will be coming to a close.
    Hugs,
    Marsha

Marsha...being a good "suthen" girl, ya know, a true "GRIT", you have to find the doc with the double wide and a room within walking distance to the outhouse! Only way to roll GF!
    BTW, COGRATULATIONS!

I just want to thank everyone for the nice comments. This should be an interesting year. I will likely be the proverbial chicken with the head cutoff running around. I have already sent off emails to a number of surgeons to check on current fees and schedules. I can't stand waiting, can we just do this right now, lol.
    Hugs,
    Marsha

    Hi Marsha .
I do not know you but i am truely pleased for you , i said the same to my surgeon on 11th of feb "can you do it now please" .
Just one thing! you just mentioned chicken with head cut off'' be careful when you find your surgeon about parts being cut off and mentioning head! in the same sentence "make it clear its not your head you want gone".
All the best for now and the future i believe you realy deserve your true body . Julia xx .

Hey, that's great news hunni! I'm really so happy. I look forward to hearing about how it all goes if you do go to Thailand, as that'll be my hope in a year or two...
    Many many hugs.
