Skin Dryness On Herbals

    Sandimari:

With the herbals, I find the use of Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc is a must. My skin has become less oily, but I wouldn't call it dry exactly, either. Judicious use of a good moisturizer (I have used both St. Ives and Lubriderm, and like St. Ives just a bit better) is called for anyway; I have had rough skin for years.

I also recommend a good multivitimin; Vitamin World has one called Meg Vita Min for Women that works really well.

    Hope this helps--

    Luv 'n hugs,

    Hi
I have been taking herbals for about 6 months now.
A mix of Black Cohosh, Red Clover and Saw Palmetto. One of the things I have noticed is that my nails seems to grow much faster but also they seem more brittle. Also the skin around my fingers seems a lot drier to the point of cracking if I don't use a moisturizer. Has anyone else had this experience?

I'm closing in on a year, but I haven't noticed that.
