Guilty Pleasure Movies - Hoodwinked

I know I'm placing this under "Tranny Movies," but I didn't know where else to put it.

The one thing I've appreciated about the state of animated movies these days is while they're targeted to a family audience, there are plenty of jokes for us big people. The storylines have been far more complex, and the character development impressive.

On Saturday I took my daughter to see "Hoodwinked." It's essentially a children's version of the classic Akira Kurosawa film "Roshamon" whereby a crime is told from four different points of view.

I wasn't supposed to like this movie, but I did. I laughed. A lot! Twitchy the Squirrel was a scream. I wanted Little Red Riding Hood's outfit, and she's a cartoon character!

All in all a very good time. So, girls, what movies have you seen lately that you didn't think you'd like?
