    On May 9, 2007, President George W Bush signed Presidential Directive NSPD-51.that "... granted near dictatorial powers to the office of the president in the event of a national emergency declared by the president." {Hitler, 1933}

    Here is the link to hte article:

    and here is the actual directive:

    It is my belief, and that of many others, that this violates the Constitution of the United States of America and usurps the power of Congress. It puts the President in control of civil, business and personal areas of the country....essentially granting him dictatorial powers.....

    And the President decides if a "catastrophic" emergency has occurred, giving him the right to take power under his own directive.... EXCUUUUUUSE ME?

    "Not this August...."

    I have already contacted my Congressman and Senators to urge immediate action to overrule this unconstitutional and outrageous action by a man who has previously, clearly demonstrated he does not understand the limits of Executive power. I urge all of you to do the same as soon as possible. After a terrorist attack on a U.S. City it will be too late...Dubya wll be a dictator. I'm dying to hear what Ziggy has to say about this.

    Under a government, such as Bush envisions, do you thing TGs will have ANY rights? Act now before Bush shuts down the Internet and ban's letters to your representatives.... for purposes of "public safety" and "National security".If you don't you may learn the true meaning of "American Family Values." Besides, I'm sure Bush has "weapons of mass distruction" so we are right to act against him, nez pas?

    Bush has gone completely crazy....
    Yesterday he stated we should be a permanent fixture in Iraq...Using our involvement in South Korea as an model. Think about it a new US embassy thats larger than the Vatican and 7 new US military large bases in Iraq...doesn't seem like he wants us out any time soon..no matter what the people say.
