About transitioning and passing. You start to be on the safe side when
1) Kids don´t notice you any more, they just pass by without a second look at you.
2) Men open doors to you or let you enter first. They would not do that to an obvious tranny.
3) Women come to say to you that you have nice earrings or beautiful shoes.
4) People sit next to you in buses...even if there would be free seats somewhere else.
5) Women don´t look at you, but men give you a short glance. That is not because you are a tranny, but cause you look good.
