Bear Attack in Churchill , Manitoba , Canada .
These are pictures of an actual polar bear attack in Churchill.
These pictures were taken while people watched and could do nothing to stop the attack!
Reports from the local newspaper say that the victim will make a full recovery...

Just why was that man kicking at the bear cub?
Just wanted to let you know that there is always an opposing view.
Back when I was teaching full time, we had a kid who couldn't behave - we even took a video of him being disruptive. On showing it to his mother, she said "you must have provoked him."
Maybe the bear cub just needed a boot to chew.

just a minute now.......I don't believe these pictures are from Churchill or anywhere else in Canada! The star here is almost certainly Knut,the star of the summer of 2007 in Berlin Zoo- or is it Flocke from Nürnberg (or is it Stuttgart?). The wellies belong to Knut's surrogate mother-i.e.his keeper(Knut was rejected by his biological mother). The keeper has since died,by the way.
Sorry to spoil a nice story!
