Yes, yes, I do remember those. If they'd gone back a little further they would have discovered the "blue jeans" we got from Army Navy Surplus after WW II. They weren't like the jeans of today. Those had laces in the back so you could adjust the waist size. We also wore leather mockisins and white sweat shirts. That was the "unisex uniform" of the young teenager.
Movies were 25 cents and I could get a hamberger with all the fixins, fries and a vanilla float for 75 cents.
Those days are gone.

In a word, no, not really, but then I'm not American and not quite old enough either. (Phew)!
That was great fun to watch though Karen, I do have a thing for the 50's.
