I just got the call for which I was dreading, and waiting, for a while now. My cousin Tommy passed away tonight. ALS finally got the best of him. Tommy was more of a brother to me, even after my own brother stopped speaking to me years ago (he had a hissy fit over my wedding!). It hasn't hit me yet. The Lord Krishna taught me a lot, and next to love for all, the other is the body might die, but the soul does not.

It's finally hit me what happened. At least I had the chance to see him at the home before he died. My kid is doing okay about this. The last time we went to see him - which was devastating enough - she was drawing him pictures to make him laugh.
