I try to set goals each year which can be accomplished. Some are short term and some are long term.
    So far...
Short term: Lose about 20 lbs without getting sick

Long term: Peddle my art work (I may have to find a busy street corner).

As the noughties come to a close and we head into the next decade, it's time to stop and think for a moment about what we want from life. What do we want from the coming year and how will we achieve it?

Some may want to lose weight, some may want to join a gym and get fit. Those are among the most obvious examples of New Year Resolutions. But what about transgender related resolutions? If your resolutions could only be TG related, what would they be?

Please tell us what yours are and we'll put the best ones on Frock magazine in time for new year. It should start with the words, “In 2010 I resolve to..."

Let me get the ball rolling with my resolution...

    * In 2010 I resolve to spend a lot more time on the social scene as Katie.

    Now, over to you!

    Hugs,

    Katie x

2009 will be pretty hard to top for me because it was my dream come true year with my going fulltime, having my legal name change, good business year, new church with new friends, and more. So for 2010 I hope to get my finances in order so I can consider SRS surgery for next December.

    Hugs,

Well my New Years Resolution this year will be to start my translition into a woman which won't be happening for a least several years or more depending on what I make in my career as a video game developer. What I will also add to my New Years Resolution is building myself up to looking like a woman since I am transsexual and feeling like a woman on the inside which all I can do for now in till I am ready to go on hormone terperpy and this won't be for few years or more. As the saying goes "good things come to those who wait" so I will to go through a long translition.

    With Love,
    Ashley

Wow, what can I say? Mmm. The past couple of years took me completely by surprise. There was I one minute happy to be a mixed up little bit of both genders, the next, well, pandoras box stubbornly remained open.

So 'In 2010 I resolve to build on the surprising foundation that 2009 provided for me. To continue my quest to be the woman I am. To move forward in this desire by effecting my name change and being me 100% of the time - as opposed to 98% . And, most importantly, to build on the unstinting and unconditional support and love my adoptive family, my brother and neices and - fantastically - my 75yr old stepmother have given me'.

Sorry, sounds like an oscar acceptance speech!

    Hiya,

I'm a bit of a scatter head. The diary I use to remember stuff is working out really well, so I'm not totally useless. I'm the type of person that has a special place for everything. You name it, I know exactly where it belongs. However, I realise, the biggest downfall to this tidy and efficient system, that for it to work, everything must actually be where it should, and my biggest downfall is I never seem to put things back to where they belong! lol. So, my new years resolution will be to try and put everything back where it belongs once I have finished with it.

    Love
    Penny

ps. I'm also going to try and look a little more efeminate as i dislocate my jaw for when I swallow my food.

Mine are to get my transitioning back on track, get the divorce final, and find a way to be with Josie all the time.
