I just saw in the TGS Newsfeed that Jeffrey Catherine Jones passed away today. She was one of my favorite illustrators/painters during the time I was pursuing a career in illustration and comic book art. She had a style somewhere between Al Williamson's fine line illustrations and Frank Frazetta's lush paintings. I knew her as Jeff Jones and until reading about her death, I had no idea that she was transgendered.

So sad...
