• Jailor to my imprisoned life
This is a beginning to an end, that which you can never
understand. Your mind began to open, then as quickly it
slammed shut. You fear those who cannot hurt you, yet
the dangerous you embrace. With words you speak of
understanding, but only to the face. The mask you wear
is ever changing, to fit the need at hand. Throwing
belief as if you wrote them, they are contrary to
actions. If not like you in thought and deed, then know
it can not be. You spout the degree of a science
professor, the knowledge you do not possess. Never the
less they say it is so, but they do not exist. You feed on
the carrion of others misfortunes, and offer vanity for a
script. Judgment fills your pocket, so you always
have an enough. The other pocket carries excuses, for
the two go hand an hand. Your own wickedness you
condemn in others, guilt is comforted by accusations
placed carefully on a friend. Eyes are diverted by truth,
and then blindness soon sets in. You cannot keep up in
a world diverse; your mind is frozen to yesteryear.
Holding tight to prejudice, of a time soon to be
forgotten. The screams you hear are those you make,
insisting all must hear. They’re in your head, no sound
they make; your hearing is impaired. You hear what
you want, deaf to the words not sanctioned. The color
black finally given place, but grays are far too many and
take up too much space. Like life, we will find a way.
Where will you go when you find now you are the
minority, and lose your precious rights.

What is not working?

Girls will be boys and boys will be girls It's a mixed up muddled up shook up world except for Lola Lo-lo-lo-lo Lola - Ray Davies, The Kinks

(S)he's a walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction - Kris Kristofferson

Ditto Melody's comment. Also, an interesting piece, can you tell me a little more about it ...

• Oh, something I did about 10 yrs ago. this is the first time I have ever had a place and chance to share it. It's of course about TransGenderism and how this country like's to pride itself on freeing the black man THEY put into slavery and that there is not longer predjudice and all men are equal, Guess that don't include us girls. hahhahaaha Or genetic one tor that matter. This all use to bother me at one time, hence the poem, but now I'm at the age and mind set it matters little. I am happy with myself and my life. I don't remember the exact reasonings at the time I wrote it. I think it had a close friend I lost because of my choices, that was the main reason. Sorry, like I said most of what I have written and saved is from a long while ago. Now when I write it just come out and it's not something Iam writing as a poem per se, but to wonderful people like you. Thanks for the interest.
