Stilettos....sex or fem?

    Hi girls!
    There's no doubt that stilettos are very sexy! Some of us can walk on them easily (like me, I have been doing it since I was four!) some can't.
    There's no doubt that in the general porn industry that stilettos are used as a part of sexual gratification,but, some of us (myself included) feel so much more fem when wearing them, especially on hard surfaces, "click, clack etc!" but I DON'T necessarily feel overtly "sexual" just very feminine!
    These days, when dressed I find it hard to walk in anything else!
    As most will know though, I haven't been out fully dressed yet, and, some of you girls that have will, no doubt say that it isn't practical! Well, for sure, I can understand that....but I can never see myself in a pair of "flats" it's just "not me" (I've never been very practical, just"me")
    So, girls....what do YOU prefer, especially on your "nights out"? xxx This post was edited by Linda T at September 3, 2014 12:57 AM BST

  • ive always worn the highest heels when out..because i love the way thay make me walk..they practically force me to have a good posture..(else id topple over).. here are some facts stolen from the interweb.

    The case for wearing high heels is based almost exclusively on aesthetic reasons, including that they:

    • change the angle of the foot with respect to the lower leg, which accentuates the appearance of calves;
    • change the wearer's posture, requiring a more upright carriage and altering the gait in what is considered a seductive fashion;
    • make the wearer appear taller;
    • make the legs appear longer;
    • make the foot appear smaller;
    • make the toes appear shorter;
    • make the arches of the feet higher and better defined.

    The case against wearing high heels is based almost exclusively on health and practicality reasons, including that they:

    • can cause foot and tendon pain;
    • increase the likelihood of sprains and fractures;
    • make calves look more rigid and sinewy;
    • can create foot deformities,
    • can cause an unsteady gait;
    • can shorten the wearer's stride.
    • can render the wearer unable to run (lol)
    • can also agitate lower back pain;
    • alter forces at the knee caused by walking in high heels so as to predispose the wearer to degenerative changes in the knee joint;
    • can result after frequent wearing in a higher incidence of degenerative joint disease of the knees. This is because they cause a decrease in the normal rotation of the foot, which puts more rotation stress on the knee.
    • can cause damage to soft floors if they are thin or metal-tipped.Laughing

    i love my heels..ill take my chances! oh..and im proud of the fact that i wore 5 inch heels for a straight 18 hours at one of the GS weekend trips..see my blog for details lol.

  • Debbie's positive, "Make the wearer look taller", is my reason for not wearing heels.
    3/4" is my maximum!

  • As with every thing... moderation is important. I very seldom wear a really "high" heel - but it is nice. Lower heels also help the shape of the leg to a fair degree. Wearing a lower heel is more convenient than getting a taller Boyfriend. :)

  • The only time I don't wear heels is when I am walking on soft ground because the heels sink. My highest heels are 3 inches. I am trying to find some 4 inch heels that I like, but the choices are not great with size 13W, lol.

  • being originally 5' 10" I felt I stood out too much if I wore anything more than a 1" heel, but that was three years ago. I've now gained confidence and lost an inch in height, so I'm happy in my 3" stilettos. Some of my maxi dresses can't be worn with anything less.

  • I don't usually wear anything over 2-3" as I don't want to be too tall but it depends on the outfit and the setting. For example at the Christmas ball I wore 4" but as they had a strap around the ankle they didn't actually feel any worse than any of my smaller heels. They were not so good for dancing though!

    The only shoes I own that don't have a heel are my trainers!

    Every woman is beautiful, some show it with their faces, others show it with their hearts.

  • Try Sam Edelman.  They have several different styles that come in a thirteen.  You can get them on Zappos.

    Also Macys has some stilettos in size 13

    Dancing in 5" heels? I would probably hurt myself.
