SEEKING PARTICIPANTS: Perceptions of Police Study

    John Jay College of Criminal Justice City University of New York

     

    A graduate student of the Psychology Department at John Jay College of Criminal Justice is currently seeking volunteers (18+ years of age) to participate in a short (5 minutes), one-time online survey aimed at assessing person's perceptions of police and willingness to report to police. In order to participate in this research you must be 18 years of age or older, have an understanding of the English language, have at least 5-7 minutes to devote to the survey and have access to a computer.

     

    Why participate? By participating in this research you will have a chance to indicate how you perceive the police, and your willingness to report to police. Your contribution will be a part of a study aimed at bettering community policing tactics and education.
