Just stop right there! Think before you do it.

  • You may think this is a strange title but with Christmas coming very fast you are going to be spending money on things you may not even use. Food to just throw away , buying presents for people to put on Ebay because you have no idea what they need or want because they have everything. Giving is a very nice feeling but , giving to someone who really is in need is a much better feeling. So whilst you are sitting there wondering how to throw your money away in your nice warm homes just spare a thought for Amy Hepker. Amy is a member of GS  "She is living in a car" . Amy at present has just a few things in her favour! One is the weather and the other is hope. Some members here have been very generous but some of you are ignoring this. The link is on the home page daily "Can you not see it" ??? You are not that hard up that you cannot spare a few Dollars or Pounds , I know that you can because I read your posts and some profiles.

Last night I was reading about some of your spending habits. Oh you must have new shoes to add to that pile and that dress of course. Then there was one who had posted their money just goes into the bank so they can watch it grow.

Below is the link to Amy's story that Marissa came accross followed by the donation box that Katie set up. I know full well you are not going to listen to me but surely you have a heart you can listen to. Have a heart and please help Amy by using the box below that Katie set up.

  • I posted the above for several reasons , one being it had been pushed off newest topics by other topics. Another reason was because it seems most seem to ignore Katie's original post even though it has been posted on the home/comments page daily by Marissa. There needs to be more than the few generous donations that have been made.

Here is Katie's original post which also includes an update from Amy.
