Today saw the start of the Christmas markets here in Germany. A lovely time of year to shop, have some lunch and stroll around the markets, savouring the occasional gluhwein to keep warm of course! Actually, it's unseasonably warm here, which is worrying as that might mean................no skiing!!!! Aarghh!!!
Anyway, we took ourselves to the markets and did some Christmas shopping as well, so we've nearly finished buying for the children now, although we both still need to get a few things for each other, but we always leave that until the end anyway.
It's getting very Christmassy here now, the sights, the sounds, the lights, and everyone is just getting into the spirit of it, it's truly wonderful.
