    ALTERNATING GENDER INCONGRUITY (AGI)

In 2012 Gase and Ramachandran published this proposed gender variant. They sent out a survey to those individuals that they could find who expressed 'voluntary' alternation between male and female status. I suggest that any good actor can achieve that in the course of their work. From those who responded and returned the survey, authors C and R hypothesised that gender alternation may possibly reflect an unusual depth or degree of hemispherical sensitivity; and, that the corresponding suppression of sex-appropriate body-maps in the parietal region of the brain. I quote: "we hypothesise that tracking the nasal cycle, rate of binocular rivalry, and other markers of hemisphere-switching will reveal a physiologial basis for AGI individuals subjective reports of gender-switches.........we base our hypothesis on ancient and modern associations between left and right hemispheres and the male and female genders".

Prof R dismisses the need for a scientific basis for his presumptions in all his 'research'. I follow all his other critics, in my evaluation of his work.

  • Cristine Jennifer Shye. BL (who expressed 'voluntary' alternation between male and female status). Firstly I think self analysis are not helpful, 'Voluntary' is questionable if there is a brain differential, it could be compared with the bi-polar condition A comparison...  more
