Well I usually enjoy a drink or two, but I’m never so drunk I can’t remember where we went.
The cash register by the door in Napoleon’s is a bit of a clue that they charge admission, but like I say T-girls get in free. The woman on the door stopped me once cos she thought I was a girl, sadly she soon realised her mistake and let me in without paying, but I did feel awfully smug nevertheless. I’m not a great fan of Napoleon’s, though I don’t mind the basement as it’s nice and quiet and it’s one of the few places you can actually hold a conversation.
I’ve never had to pay to get into Vanilla, I think they only charge admission to men, in drab that is, it being a lesbian bar. You seem to have a thing against big butch dykes Claire, the ones I’ve spoken to have all been very friendly so far. I usually find that if you are friendly towards people they will be friendly in return, we are all human after all, whether gay, straight, lesbian, transgendered or chav, I try not to be prejudiced about people’s status.
I honestly have never seen anything remotely homophobic in the Village, though I’m not saying it won’t happen, I guess if you were a gay basher you’d find more gays to bash in the Gay Village than at Old Trafford. I usually go on a Saturday or a Wednesday, and there have always been t-girls all over the place, though I have been on other days of the week when it is generally a bit quieter. I’m not going to argue about where is best to go, that’s a matter of personal taste, but I do agree with all the other girls on this thread, and surely thousands of other t-girls who go there, that the Village is generally a safe and friendly place for us to go, and we will be warmly welcomed at all the various establishments.
I don’t go there to see convincing t-girls, it doesn’t matter to me how others look. I don’t go there to see t-girls at all really, apart from my lovely friends of course, but it is nice to see so many girls around, it makes you feel like it’s just a normal thing to do, no big deal. Basically everyone is used to seeing girls like us around there, so no-one should worry about not being accepted. It’s a pretty cool place to go out dressed, is there anywhere better in this country?

All the girls nights out in Manchester are at the weekend and I can only manage weekdays…Wednesday seems to be the best night because there are lots of trannies around. Is anyone in the same position as me, and would like to do something girly in Manchester on a weekday evening?

I think the food place you mentioned, Claire is called "McTucky's".
Is that because lots of trannies go there I wonder...
